RiverImpact is a company based in the Netherlands that is dedicated to turning plastic waste into value. Our focus is on the timely interception of plastic waste from rivers, as we aim to reduce the impact that plastic waste has on the world’s oceans.

Our organization is committed to minimizing the environmental impact of plastic waste by intercepting it downstream and in urban areas. Our projects are developed in rivers where it is possible to identify solid waste, which is then captured with the help of our Impact Barriers. 

We take care to separate recyclable materials from the waste that we collect, disposing of the remaining waste in an environmentally responsible manner. Our ultimate goal is to classify all recyclable plastic material, allowing us to make a profit while also being mindful of the environment. Every effort is made to handle all types of plastic waste, ensuring that our mission is achieved.
