Spent past four years as Head Business Development for The Ocean Cleanup: - Successfully implementing projects in Dominican Republic, Jamaica and Guatemala. - Received U$ 1 million grant from Benioff Ocean Initiative for Jamaica project. - Negotiating government contracts with seven Central American countries. - Managing big sponsors for river cleaning projects (Ambev, Natura, PepsiCo). - Involved in funding with IDB and BCIE bank.

At the forefront of our initiative, Alexander spearheads the installation of a substantial barrier in Guatemala’s main river, a pivotal step in our mission to rid waterways of plastic. Beyond this, he showcases innovation by overseeing the operation of compact, mobile recycling plants. These plants, under his expert guidance, recycle the extracted plastic, creating a sustainable solution to combat pollution. Alexander is instrumental in leading a transformative project that blends technology, environmental conservation, and operational excellence. In addition to his role in combating plastic pollution, Alexander is the Operations Manager for our project in Guatemala, leveraging his dual master's degrees to bring a robust technical background to the position. He plays a pivotal role in communication strategies, showcasing his diverse skill set by contributing to the development of our website and creating engaging videos that effectively convey our message. Alexander is a key asset in ensuring the success and seamless functioning of our projects
